The Plants

Plants are living beings. They communicate with one another using chemical signals. Many turn their heads toward the sun as it moves across the sky. They protect themselves from insect attacks by producing insect repellants in their leaves. When they are well fed by a soil rich in organic matter, they are healthy and can transmit that health to the animals and humans who eat them.
